Multilanguage

Translating

If you would like to help us, you could translate WassUp in your language, it is very simple, you only need a software to build .mo file from .pot file, there are several software to do it:

  • POedit is the best software to do it you can download it and install
  • when you are ready with POedit (or the software you prefer) get the wassup.pot file (you can get it from the language directory of your WassUp installation too)
  • open wassup.pot and start translate every single line into your language
  • save the .po file as it_IT.po (this is for italian, you could name it e.g. for the Portuguese spoken in Brazil: pt_BR.po)
  • build the .mo file as it_IT.mo
  • send the .po and .mo file to my email address (michele AT befree DOT it)
